Norbert Vergez - Guiding Capital Projects while Merging Military Leadership with Construction "Know-How"

Norbert "Bert" Vergez previously enjoyed a decorated leadership career in the US Army that lasted 25 years. Over the years expertly managed capital projects supporting aircraft maintenance, troop, and equipment readiness. He also served multiple combat tours in locations such as Iraq, Albania, and Afghanistan, and managed multi-million-dollar programs under the purview of the US Army Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). A pilot/aviator of advanced military aircraft, Norbert "Bert" Vergez directed programs that facilitated the modernization of existing aircraft and production of new, advanced fleet components.

During his years of service, Mr. Vergez fielded more than 100 aircraft into the Middle East and Afghanistan in record time, attaining ambitious National Command Authority and coalition objectives. He holds an MS in strategic studies from the US Army War College in Kansas, an MS in Information Systems from Florida Institute of Technology and is a political science and military studies graduate of Norwich University in Vermont. He has also served as commander of the School of the America’s Aircraft Maintenance Company.

Recently, Norbert Vergez guided diverse capital projects with a focus on US government-funded work, in collaboration with architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors. He holds Green Belt Lean Six Sigma qualifications in operational management.
